October Since the first Sierra Gold Harvest Quilt Show in 1983, the show has grown in both size and popularity, taking up two buildings at the Amador County Fairgrounds.
The quilt show is a major fundraiser for the Sierra Gold Quilter's Guild and the proceeds are used to contribute quilts and other items to those in need in the community.
As part of the quilt show, members have created a stunning opportunity quilt won by a lucky raffle ticket holder. Win a beautful quilt! Raffle Tickets $1 for one and $5 for six. In addition, there will be a display of the many beautiful quilts created by guild members, vendors, a Country Store with many bargains, a small quilt auction, terrific food, and more.
As the quilt show falls on the same weekend as the Amador County Big Crush, visitors to the Gold Country can enjoy a fabulous weekend of wine tasting and quilt appreciation!
Entry is $7.00; spouse and children under 12 are free.
